NEW: High Temperature Simulated Distillation Testing for Automotive

Bureau Veritas’ Buffalo lab in USA has acquired testing capability to perform High Temperature Simulated Distillation per ASTM D6352 for automotive fluids
Simulated Distillation (SIMDIS) by Gas Chromatography – Flame Ionization Detector (GC-FID) is a technique used to simulate a distillation of petroleum distillate fractions
The test scope applies to medium to heavy oils with boiling point distributions ranging from 174°C to 700°C, such as automotive fluids including hydraulics, lubricants, and oils
