Wi-Fi Alliance announces that WPA3 certification will become mandatory from Jul. 1st, 2020

The Wi-Fi Alliance has announced that WPA3 certification will become mandatory for all 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac devices from Jul. 1st, 2020. All devices need to pass WPA3™ certification testing at a Wi-Fi Authorized Test Laboratory, such as Bureau Veritas, from that time.
Moreover, WPA3™ certification testing will be mandatory for Wi-Fi 6 certification which will be launched in August 2019.
