Vanuatu Telecommunications Radiocommunications and Broadcasting Regulator (TRBR) has implemented a new Type approval requirement for Telecommunication devices

Technical standards regulation Order No. 191/2018 was published in an Official Gazette No. 81 on November 23, 2018. 

1) Scope of product regulated for type approval:  
- Mobile Cellular Networks 
- PMR (Land Mobile) 
- Short Range Devices 
- Maritime 
- Satellite 
- Fixed 
- Personal Communications 
- Broadcasting 

2) Lead time: 2~3 weeks    

3) Technical standards: per EN/ETSI/IEC standards 

4) Samples requirement: None 

5) Cert expiry: permanent 

6) Approval holder: can be foreign manufacturer, but importer still need to hold their own approval

7) Any label/marking requirements: No
