Standard Certification System for Radio Equipment in Japan

Many of the wireless devices and IoT products that are familiar to us are conforming to the technical standards set by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communication. The standard certification system for radio equipment includes technical standard conformity certification and construction design certification.

Authorized by The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC), a Registered Certification Body (RCB) like Bureau Veritas provides the MIC certification for type approvals in Japan.
