WHY WOULD MECHANICAL AND ENDURANCE TESTING BE USED?
When a product is subjected to repeated stress, it can be prone to failures even when the product is new. Although manufacturers are able to calculate the strength of a product or parts of a product, they aren't able to accurately calculate a product’s overall life use. Mechanical endurance testing is used to help understand the different elements which can effect a product throughout the consumers lifetime.
Mechanical endurance testing is used to determine whether a product can withstand the processing load it’s expected to endure during an extended period. This process can apply different levels of force, depending on the clients request. If required we can even test to destruction.
WHAT DO WE TEST FOR?
Different levels of testing are used depending on the application, the use of physical forces such as vibrations, shock stresses and strains can establish the product’s boundaries and limitations.
