Press Release

September 3 Deadline Approaches for Amazon's Vendor Packaging Incentive - Bureau Veritas Packaging Testing Supports Amazon's Frustration-Free Packaging Certification

Jul. 22 2019

AMAZON AUGUST 1 DEADLINE QUICKLY APPROACHING

Amazon's incentive to encourage vendors to certify their packaging prior to September 3, 2019 is almost over. (and chargebacks will begin)

After September 3rd, Amazon will require many items to be packaged in certified  "Frustration Free Packaging" or require them to ship in their own containers (SIOC). This process requires a packaging performance test performed by an Amazon approved laboratory

Bureau Veritas is certified to perform Amazon.com ISTA 6 testing. This includes Ships-in-Own-Container (SIOC), Over Boxing / Prep-Free Packaging (PFP) and Frustration Free Packaging (FFP) testing.

After September 3, Amazon will expand their Frustration Free packaging program to include certification eligibility for smaller items. Contact us today to find out what this means!
