Philippines NTC issued Memorandum regarding Type Approval/Acceptance of Equipment based on the specific integrated Radio Module

The Philippines' National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) has issued a Memorandum on Aug. 7, 2019 regarding Type Approval/Acceptance of Equipment based on the specific integrated Radio Module.

In the Memorandum, NTC requested:

1. The host/end product shall be Type Approved/Accepted as per specific integrated/installed RF Module.
2. An equipment model with single Regulatory Model Name (RMN) with multiple marketing model name shall be issued a certificate per marketing model basis.

This order shall take effect immediately upon approval, for strict compliance.
