There have been a number of California Proposition 65 settlements recently finalized that involve metal whistles, goggles, snorkel gear, hats, napkin rings, buckets, water bottles and craft tools.
Metal Whistles
Requirements
- No more than 100 ppm Lead
- Or provide specified warning label
Goggles
Requirements
- No more than 1000 ppm each of DEHP, DBP, DINP, DnHP, DNOP, and BBP
- Or provide specified warning label
Snorkel Gear
Requirements
- No more than 1000 ppm each of DEHP and DINP
- Or provide specified warning label
Hats
Requirements
- No more than 100 ppm lead
- No more than 1.0 ug lead in Ghost wipe
- Warning labels cannot be used as an alternative to meeting the requirement
Napkin Ring
Requirements
- No more than 90 ppm lead
- No more than 1.0 ug lead in Ghost wipe
- Or provide specified warning label
Buckets
Requirements
- No more than 1000 ppm of DEHP
- Or provide specified warning label
Water Bottles
Requirements
- No more than 1000 ppm of DEHP
- Or provide specified warning label
Craft Tools
Requirements
- No more than 90 ppm lead
- No more than 1.0 ug lead in Ghost wipe
- Warning labels cannot be used as an alternative to meeting the requirement
