NEBS (Network Equipment Building System) testing is a requirement for telecom equipment to be deployed in central office facilities, customer premises and outside plant facilities. Telecom service providers require the tests to ensure network integrity and continuous operation of the network. The standards most commonly required are the Telcordia GR-1089 CORE and GR-63 CORE. Bureau Veritas in Massachusetts offers knowledgeable testing to these standards for all U.S. telecom service providers.
Bureau Veritas test reports have been found acceptable to all telecom service providers. Bureau Veritas understands and applies the individual requirements of each service provider. At Bureau Veritas the job doesn’t end with delivery of the report. Due to the complexity of NEBS standards, often the service provider’s representative reviewing the test report may need further interpretive guidance on particular aspects of a product’s compliance, and Bureau Veritas is experienced in helping provide this information to customers.
