Malaysia MCMC issued Technical Checklist for the IPV6 compliant equipment

Recently Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) published a new Technical Checklist MCMC MTSFB TC T013:2019 for the IPv6 compliant equipment. The suggested implementation of IPv6 certification program is by July 2020. 

The IPv6 compliant requirement would affect products such as Access Point, Gateway, Mobile phones and all other first-tier products that would connect directly to service providers.  

The regulated product with the IPv6 features could obtain voluntary certification up till end by July 2020. Certified products which have IPv6 features could be sold as usual until the certificate is expired. IPv6 compliance report will need to be provided when applying for renewal.

IPv6 compliance report shall be based on the IPv6 Forum.
