GB/T 19942-2019 Leather and Fur – Chemical Tests -Determination of Banned Azo Colorants Would be Effective as of July 1st, 2020

China mandatory standard GB 20400 Leather and Fur – Limit of harmful matter has been effective since 2007.  The specified banned azo colorants test standard GB/T 19942 has been recently updated to 2019 version. The new version has reference to ISO 17234-1:2015. The new version also has the reference to GB/T 33392 for the detection of 4-aminoazobenzene, which was not listed as one of the analyzed amines in previous version.
