Bureau Veritas to Speak & Sponsor AAFA Traceability Seminar

Bureau Veritas, the leading Testing, Inspection and Certification provider, will participate in and sponsor the AAFA Traceability Seminar, taking place at Target Corporation in Minneapolis, MN, on August 7,  2019.  

This one day seminar will focus on how achieving transparency in a company’s supply chain is not only the right thing to do but consumers and stakeholders are demanding it. Brand reputation, environmental repercussions, labor discord, and more are at stake. This program will deliver business solutions, resources, and initiatives to keep people and the environment safe.   This year’s keynote speaker is William Foudy, Jr.
Senior Vice President and President, Owned Brand Sourcing and Development at Target Corporation.

Chuck Rogers, Bureau Veritas’ Director of Technical Consulting and Supply Chain Solutions, will moderate a panel discussion titled Finding Opportunity During Challenging Times. Speakers from PVH, WRAP and the AAFA will discuss the opportunity to start a new or re-energize a traceability program when moving out of China or into a new country. This interactive session will go through labor, sustainability, environmental, product safety, and other nitty gritty areas to consider when looking to update your sourcing strategy.

Also in attendance from Bureau Veritas will be Rick Horwitch, Rajan Kamalanathan, Carmelo Manna and Cindy Boeddeker.
