Bureau Veritas to Speak at AATCC E-Textiles Exploratory Series

Bureau Veritas is pleased to be speaking at the AATCC E-Textiles Exploratory Series. 

This five-part virtual series, running July 21 – September 15, 2021, features industry experts presenting a variety of topics including safety, data privacy, standards, methodology, cyber security, commercialization, as well as E-Textiles fundamentals. All five presentations are available for purchase as a series or individually. 

Bureau Veritas’ Travis Norton will present a session titled Data Privacy and Cybersecurity for Smart Wearables, with Christopher Crowley from Montance LLC on August 18.  

Travis Norton  has been with Bureau Veritas for more than 25 years and serves as a Director of Global Technical Services. He is an ASTM member, participating on committees F38 for unmanned aircraft systems, F12 for security systems, D13 for textiles on the D13.50 ‘smart textiles’ committee, and F15 for consumer products, including the new F15.75 committee for ‘Ensuring the Safety of Consumer Connected Devices’.
