Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services launches Risk Mitigation for Extended Storage Program

Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services has announced the launch of its risk mitigation for extended storage program. This holistic solution provides a suite of services from awareness training, warehouse assessment, product inspection to container loading check designed to help reduce the risk of product contamination (e.g. mold, insects, rust, bacteria, etc.) before shipment.

The unforeseen shipping delay due to heavy port congestion and the global supply chain crisis has resulted in extended storage of products at warehouses and in containers. The longer the hold-up period of the stranded products, the greater the chance of increasing the risk of contamination and deterioration of the quality.

By leveraging Bureau Veritas' experience and extensive worldwide coverage, this program helps buyers and sellers worldwide to assess their products in the warehouse in person, or remotely.
