Bureau Veritas Announces Wireless/IoT Technical Competence Center in the Bay Area, USA
4th February 2020 - Sunnyvale, USA. Bureau Veritas has announced the consolidation of their Southern California capability and talent to their Bay Area location in California, USA with the development of Bureau Veritas USA’s Wireless/IoT Technical Competence Center. They state that existing client relationships will remain unaffected by this move.
Leslie Bai, VP of Bureau Veritas CPS EAW Americas stated, “With this move, the wireless / IoT community will benefit from one of the world’s most comprehensive R&D / Certification laboratory hubs covering regulatory, performance, conformance and cybersecurity testing as well as an innovative global market access solution. Our two fully equipped labs in Sunnyvale (wireless conformance, including 5G, and cybersecurity services) and Milpitas (regulatory, product certification and global market access services) will deliver the solutions. Our clients will be proactively supported by our technical and project management team to ensure a seamless and unrivaled experience. We do not anticipate any disruption to existing client commitments.“
Bureau Veritas confirm that all sales talent will be joining the new Wireless/IoT Technical Competence Center meaning their clients will benefit from the same contact point and a faster / more flexible service experience.
The migration of activities will commence during the first week of February and Bureau Veritas expect to be operating their Wireless/IoT Technical Competence Center in the Bay Area by the end of March 2020.
Bureau Veritas have also committed to host a series of open days when their Bay Area Technical Competence Center is fully operational.
