Brexit: Extension to Apply UKCA Mark

Companies will now have until 1st January 2023 apply the UKCA mark (with the exception of medical devices).

The UK government has announced plans to introduce legislation which will enable CE marked goods to continue being placed on the Great British market until 1st January 2023 (except for Medical Devices that has separate deadlines).

This is an extension of one year on their original deadline of 1st January 2022 and is to support the impact the pandemic continues to have on businesses but stress that there will be no further extensions to this deadline.
