Bureau Veritas is proud to announce that the Juvenile Products Manufacturing Association has selected Bureau Veritas as Laboratory Administrator for its JPMA Certification Program, following a rigorous process among leading independent, third-party, global product testing laboratories.
The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association, Inc. (JPMA) is a national trade organization that represents companies in the United States, Canada, and Mexico who manufacture, import and/or distribute infant products. JPMA Certification is voluntary, and based on adherence to ASTM standards, federal and state laws, and some retail requirements. As a JPMA Certification Program participant, manufacturers benefit from a turnkey testing solution that includes significantly discounted testing fees, unique marketing opportunities, and use of the JPMA Certification Seal on products and packaging. As the designated Program Administrator and Partner Lab, Bureau Veritas brings its expertise and experience verifying the quality, compliance, and safety of child care products across global supply chains. Bureau Veritas will oversee matters pertaining to pre-market certification, the scheduling of field tests, sample collection, and will perform the tests of product samples globally to check for compliance with JPMA Certification.
